As part of the current exhibition Housing, Community, & Creativity, join us for a guided walk through history and hear surprising backstories of many familiar downtown buildings. Led by Elia Haworth, the museum’s Curator of Coastal Marin Art and History, learn about how local maritime history from the Gold Rush to the 1930s shaped downtown, the history of moving entire buildings dating back to late 1800s, and the remarkable diversity of their uses through time.
