Volunteer Opportunities
Perhaps the most instantly rewarding volunteer job is to serve as a docent in the gallery. Our docents are the welcoming face of the museum, enjoying visitor response to our exhibitions and sharing their own insights and information to help enrich visitor's experience. (A staff member is always available as well.) This is a wonderful way to savor the exhibitions, meet people, share stimulating conversations and make new friends.

From its inception, volunteers have played a major role in the success of Bolinas Museum! They contribute their time and skills as Board members, docents, guest curators and work on special office, history archive or educational projects. Our volunteers staff help with art openings, courtyard concerts, parties and our many special events including the Bolinas Museum annual art auction and party. Everyone enjoys being part of the team!
