31. Ido Yoshimoto
Douglas Fir Stool
Ido Yoshimito was raised in Inverness and greatly influenced by the work of friend and neighbor JB Blunk. In fact, Ido currently works out of JB’s studio, high on Inverness Ridge. The black form in the print is the shape of the footprint of his redwood stool that was included in the “Chair Stories” exhibition at the Bolinas Museum in 2017. The series was inspired by work developed for solo exhibition at the Curator’s Cube in Japan.
