Public Panel Discussion: All This Every Day

Sat. September 12, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free and Open to All

In conjunction with the exhibition All This Every Day: Bolinas Community Publishing in the Seventies, join us for a free public panel exploring the literary, artistic, environmental, and civic life of Bolinas in the 1970s. Moderated by Jeff Gunderson, Archivist and Librarian at the San Francisco Art Institute and a longtime writer and researcher of Bay Area art and cultural history, the conversation brings together Lloyd Kahn, publisher and author; Michael Wolfe, poet and founder of Tombouctou Books; Dotty LeMieux, poet and editor of the Turkey Buzzard Review; Genie McNaughton, scientist and environmental advocate; and Michael Rafferty, founder of the Bolinas Hearsay News and Radio Free Bolinas. Together, they will reflect on the publications, people, and grassroots networks that made Bolinas such a singular center for independent publishing and community life.
