In The Himalayas: Photographs by Linda Connor

With a long and distinguished career, celebrated Marin photographer Linda Connor is drawn to the timeless nature of sacred sites and wild places. For decades, the culture and geology of the Himalaya have captured her eye. Resonating with her signature grace and a weighty stillness, this exhibition features recent large format images of rock faces deep in the Himalaya from her series Once the Ocean Floor and intimate interiors of Buddhist monasteries. The recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant and a Guggenheim Fellowship, Connor’s work can be found in museum collections worldwide.
