Join us for an enriching experience as Bolinas artist Wayne Campbell leads us through the current exhibition of his metaphorical steel sculpture installations in the Main Gallery. Campbell is thoughtful, with broad interests and easy humor, and will share stories about his inspirations, methods, and his many collaborations with remarkable people. Much of his life’s work has been informed by his art education and interest in many mediums. His passion for mountain climbing led to his mountain rescue leadership, and that expertise, along with art and architectural drafting, led him to pioneer extraordinary indoor climbing walls and gyms. Since 1998, he has been head set designer and a master rigger for Zaccho Dance Theater, with dancers high in the air dancing off towers, in cathedrals, and in other spaces that excite Campbell’s love of creative challenges. His stories are lively and insightful.
