Bolinas-Stinson School Student Exhibition

Evoking a Sense of Place

January 18 - February 2, 2025

Curated by Nuria Lee Martinez

This beloved annual exhibition showcases the extraordinary creativity of Bolinas-Stinson School students. The school’s award-winning Art Shops Program, founded in 1974, allows students to explore their imagination and expand their painting, woodworking, textiles, metalworking, and ceramics skills. Dedicated teachers inspire the program and foster creative confidence and artistic innovation.

This year’s theme, A Sense of Place, emphasizes the profound connection between individuals, their environment, and their community. By integrating visual arts with disciplines such as music, theater, dance, literature, mathematics, science, and history, this interdisciplinary approach fosters a vibrant and holistic learning experience. It cultivates meaningful pathways for deeper understanding, active engagement, and sustained motivation.
