Tim Burns: Land of a Thousand Birds

Bolinas photographer Tim Burns finds inspiration in the beauty of his ever-changing natural surroundings resulting in a diverse body of work ranging from the pictorial to the abstract. Living perched above Duxbury Reef, with sweeping views of the ocean, Burns is continually drawn to record the magic he witnesses. This exhibition features images of fleeting light through fog and cloud resulting in quiet abstractions of sea, sky and land. While taken with a digital camera, these images are mainly unaltered from their original state.
