Sebastopol photographer Brian Gaberman has been a quiet and leading force in a new wave of skateboard photography since he first debuted work in TransWorld Skateboarding magazine in 2002. A preference for black and white imagery and his unique eye reveals his deep regard for artists such as Sally Mann, Harry Callahan, and Edward Weston.
