Make/Shift Shelter: Jay Nelson, Whiting Tennis & Eirik Johnson

Protection from the elements is a fundamental human need and can take many forms. With muses ranging from outhouses and hunting cabins, to camper shells and Buckmister Fuller, the three contemporary artists featured in this exhibition each find inspiration in shelters born out of a necessity and made by hand with simple and often salvaged materials.
