Of Golden Light: Orotones Re-Envisioned

Berkeley photographer Patty Mulligan’s unique process creates luminous landscapes that often blur the distinction between photography and painting. Inspired by the work of Edward Curtis, Mulligan prints on glass plates, which she then backs in gold. The resulting streams, vineyards, and treescapes glow with warmth.
