Patsy Krebs has been exploring the perception of color and light as an abstract artist for more than 40 years. She has an insatiable interest in exploring geometry and subtle gradations of color, to invite viewers into a contemplative state of heightened visual awareness. She and her husband are long time residents of Inverness, above Tomales Bay. In her quest for creative solitude she annually spends time in their isolated cabin in Colorado and adventures to locations such as a lighthouse on a remote island in Scotland in winter. Her art is represented by Haines Gallery in San Francisco and collected in major museum collections, including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Denver Museum of Art, and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
