The boat Owl served Bolinas from 1910-1933, carrying passengers, farm goods, and supplies between Bolinas and San Francisco. She was built in Oregon, commissioned by Dr. Richard Gibson of Bolinas, then sold to the local Petar brothers of Bolinas and captained by Louis Petar.
